The miso compliments this soup beautifully making it a classic favorite. A standard bowl It is a massive bowl so great if you're starving, the soup is slightly on the salty side but that's the flavour of miso soup. The miso costs a bit more at around $8-9 a tub but will last up to a year + in the fridge. If you follow my recipes you will be sure to use it more than once. I have often wondered about making miso soup at home - it seemed like such a mysterious thing, with it's swirling, curling, cloudy broth.
